OBJECTIVES

1. To encourage collaboration and coordination on social welfare and the solving of social problems and development of social awareness.
2. To promote member organizations, work units, religious institutions and educational institutes on social welfare and the solving of social problems and development.
3. To represent social welfare organizations and voluntary organizations both nationally and internationally.
4. To support research on social welfare and social problems.
5. To promote fund raising campaigns, to develop conscientiousness, awareness and public mind among people in society.
6. To assist the poor, the disabled to enable them to help themselves.
7. To put effort in solving problems that affect people's well-being, social harmony and national security.
8. To develop human resources, families, communities and societies and ensure sustainability in accordance with the philosophy of Thai lifestyle.
9. To promote the work of the National Council on Social Welfare and member organizations, to disseminate information and knowledge about voluntary organizations, social welfare and the solving of social problems.
10. To raise fund for the disabled and the underprivileged through the sale of government lottery.
